This tool is designed to help you explore those variables in a simple, visual way. It is not a financial plan, but it can help frame the planning conversations that matter.

For illustration only. Assumes a constant annual rate of return in each phase; real returns vary, can be negative, and are not guaranteed. In drawdown the order of returns matters. A poor run of early returns can deplete a portfolio faster than a constant-rate illustration suggests. "Net invested" is total contributed minus total withdrawn, and can turn negative once withdrawals exceed everything contributed; "growth" is ending market value minus net invested. With "today's dollars" on, every figure and the chart are discounted to current purchasing power at the inflation rate set.
